Okuri Judo Club


2008 Senior Nationals, Virginia Beach, VA - April 2008
Okuri was represented by six members at Nationals to compete in Seniors, Masters and Kata. Unfortunately, Terrie Norman broke her wrist 4 weeks before Nationals and was unable to come. So, Jolie teamed up with Ray Hosokawa (Fort Worth Judo). They won first in Mixed Pairs Katame No Kata.
National Masters competition followed the next day with Akin and Jorge winning first place. Debi Brantner took second. Melinda Meche and Rodney Roberts brought home 3rd place.
