While the Kearney brothers were competing in Florida, Jolie Feng and Terrie Norman attended Joshi Camp. Joshi Camp is a 3-day, women-only camp started by Sensei Keiko Fukuda. Miss Fukuda is 96 years old, and is the highest ranking woman in Judo as a 9th degree black belt. The camp is attended by female judoka of all ages and ranks who receive instruction in both kata and shiai/randori techniques. Each year the camp features a guest instructor, alternating between a US or Japanese instructor. This year's guest instructor was Katie Sell, 2008 Olympic Team alternate.
